The Team

Indie Zero Founder, Brian Dowling, has more than 25 years experience across Feature Films, Commercials and TV.

Chloe Fitzgerald started her career running a film rigging company at just 19 and has since risen through the ranks to become the Managing Director of parent company Helix.

Working in collaboration Brian and Chloe are building a one-stop-shop for film, TV and commercials. Where set design and construction, and filming can take place under one roof… with intention of pioneering sustainability in the industry.

The Building's History

Originally built in the 1950s by the Ministry For War, it was then turned to peaceful purposes and for 70 years it operated as a factory, a night club, a recording studio and film set construction workshop.

We’re looking forward to exiting times ahead as we push ahead with the next phase of our Indie-Zero Film Studios development!

Crossrail

We’re close to Woolwich Station on the Elizabeth Line, just 35mins from central London and just over 1hr from Heathrow.

At Woolwich Station catch a taxi or the 301 straight to the studio

Road & Taxi

The studio is located just inside the M25, close to the Dartford Crossing and Woolwich Ferry. We’re also a 6min drive from Woolwich station.

We’re a 6 min drive from Woolwich Station by car or taxi. There’s parking for uptown 30 vehicles on site.

Bus

We’re a 10 min ride from Woolwich Station by bus.

Catch the number 301 bus to Purland Road West (Stop P) right outside the studio.

City Airport

We’re only 4 miles from City Airport. Just 2 stops and 6 mins from City Airport DLR station to Woolwich, where you can change to taxi or bus.

Alternatively grab a taxi from the airport and be with us in 21 mins.
